What we collect, and what we don’t
The short version
We collect the least we can. Today that means an email address, a first name, a cat’s name, and optionally a gotcha day — because the notes we send are written to you and about her, and none of that works without them.
What we deliberately don’t collect
- No postal address, no phone number, no payment details. We have no use for them.
- No purchase amounts. Where you buy something, that retailer holds that, not us.
- No cross-site tracking pixels for advertising networks.
Consent
Signing up is double opt-in: you give an address, we send one email asking you to confirm, and nothing else happens unless you do. We keep a record of that consent — when it was given and from where — because we’re required to and because it’s the only honest way to prove you asked. Every email has a working unsubscribe, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent.
Analytics
We use privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics that count pages, not people. We don’t build profiles and we don’t sell or share anything with data brokers.
Asking us
Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted? Email hello@pluckypet.com and a person will do it.
The legal entity
⚑ Entity name pending. Postal address pending — required on this page and in every commercial email.
